Higgins Aviation Assets Ltd. is the reliable provider of light fixed wing aircraft to small commercial air operators (CAR 702/703) in BC and the Yukon. A thorough understanding of our customer’s operational needs, allows us to provide the best aircraft solutions for operators through uncomplicated lease arrangements. By helping our clients move forward, we support the growing demand for Aerial Work and Air Taxi operations in BC and the Yukon.

Applying our operational knowledge, including our significant expertise in the regulatory environment, we thoroughly review our customers requirements before searching for the right aircraft fit. We have pricing options that aren’t tied to fixed hours and we stand behind our machines. We add significant value in assisting our customers with the regulators; this results in speedier approvals and earlier revenue seat miles.

Who We Are

Captain Jerry Higgins, Managing Director

Jerry has logged over 11000 flying hours in both corporate and commercial air carrier operations. With 7000+ command hours, he has experience on single engine and light twin engine piston and turbo prop aircraft, multiple types of high performance turbo prop and corporate jet aircraft, and large air carrier aircraft including the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 types. His 42 years in the aviation industry, (20 years in various regulatory roles, and 22+ years in multiple flight operations roles) provides a sound understanding of both regulatory and operational requirements that enable him to work effectively on aircraft registration, operations, and airworthiness processes for our customers.

His love of flying makes him a keen customer advocate.
